Liz is an inspirational figure with an extraordinary story, as many would have discovered when she was featured in Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaire’. Honoured by Her Majesty the Queen, Liz was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to business.
After running her own award-winning company Great Guns Marketing for 17 years – a business she launched the year she lost her eyesight – Liz won the Women Mean Business Award – Britain’s biggest award dedicated to women running their own businesses. The award is designed to recognise the growing importance of independent businesswomen to both the economy and the community. Liz is perfectly placed to understand the pressures and challenges business owners face.
Liz is Marketing Director of BCMS, a UK based corporate finance advisor, and her initiatives have built strong relationships with corporate partners, being the driving force behind the formation of the Fellows programme, a unique network of entrepreneurs who have sold all or part of their businesses with BCMS.
