Graham McPherson, better known as Suggs, is a British singer-songwriter, musician, radio personality and actor.
He came to prominence in the late 1970s as the lead singer of the iconic ska band Madness who he still fronts today. Madness had a string of hit singles and chart topping albums making them one of the most successful bands in UK chart history. Collecting multiple awards; including the prestigious Ivor Novello, performing at the London Olympics and Queens Jubilee in 2012, the band have spent almost half a century at the forefront of British Culture. Outside of the band Suggs has released two studio albums hits include “I’m Only Sleeping”, “Camden Town”, “Cecilia” and “Blue Day”.
He’s a patron of Children in Need and has presented several TV shows including Night Fever, Inside Out and Relic Hunters. As an actor Suggs has appeared in shows including Young Ones, Benidorm, The Tall Guy and more. He also hosted radio shows on BBC 6 Music and Virgin Radio.
